We do not bulk bill; however, on setting our fee structure, we have tried to strike a balance between meeting our costs and not making the cost of therapy prohibitive. This is why our fees are well below those recommended by the APS. For example, the APS recommended fee for a 46 - 60 minute session is $260.00.

Fees are based on a 50 minute session with 10 minutes provided to your clinician for note taking and letter writing time. Before allowing for any rebates from either Medicare or your Health Fund, the cost of a 50 - 60 minute consult is $165.00. Payment is due prior to your session and may be paid by cash, direct debit, credit card, or PAYPAL.

Advanced Treatment consultation (90+ mins) $220.00

Fee Structure

Please note that unless there are exceptional circumstances, if you cancel your session within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment or do not attend, the cost of the scheduled appointment will be charged to you. This fee will need to be paid directly by you and can not be passed on to Medicare or any other third party.

Rebates

Medicare: The cost of your session may be subsidised by Medicare. For a Medicare Rebate, you need to be referred by your GP with a "GP Mental Health Care Plan" (GPMHCP) or as part of a shared care plan, or referred by a medical practitioner (including a general practitioner, but not a specialist or consultant physician) who is managing the client under a referred psychiatrist assessment and management plan; or referred by a specialist or consultant physician in the practice of his or her field of psychiatry or paediatrics. A Medicare Rebate for a 50 - 60 minute consult is $88.25, therefore your out-of-pocket fee is $76.75 (these consultations are time limited up to ten planned sessions per calendar year). 

Private Health Cover: If you have full private health cover for services from a Psychologist, you will receive a rebate from your health fund or they will pay your bill on your behalf. As health funds vary in the amount of cover they offer, please check your cover and the rebate offered with your health fund.
